Peter Dutcher was born in New York State in 1965. He spent a great deal of his time reading  novels and comic books.and creating stories of fantastic adventures and intrigue. He wrote his first short story at the age of seven. Peter is the grandson of children’s book author Laura Dutcher, and the nephew of children’s book illustrator Linda Apperson.

Peter’s first published works were within the independent comic book industry, where he wrote, inked or lettered various books, including Holy Knight and Assassinette for Pocket Change, and The Penalty and Gothtropolis for CyberComix. The Penalty was featured in an article with a local newspaper.

He later self published Victorious, Jason’s FaithThe Faith of One, and the The Twice Born King (novella series), all in ebook form.

Peter Dutcher released his first full-length novel A Storm of Dragons in April of 2016, then quickly followed it with The Wiles of Devils and Where Goes The Gnome? in August 2016.

The Wiles of Devils is a rewrite of The Twice Born King in full-length novel form, with many changes and improvements made. Currently, it is his only Christian Fiction novel, however, it does tie in with the Storm of Dragons continuity now.

Peter Dutcher lives with his wife in the Atlantic Southeast. Together, they have two sons who are just embarking on their adult lives.
